Samantha Youssef is the Artistic Director and founder of Studio Technique. For the past 14 years, she has worked in both 2D feature films and video games for studios such as Walt Disney Animation and Ubisoft Entertainment. Some of her credited films are ‘The Princess and the Frog’, ‘Lilo and Stitch 2’ and ‘Tarzan 2’. She is also a former professional ballet dancer, a published author and an educator giving lectures and workshops around the world.

The Drawing Script

The Drawing Script is a great site for brushing up on your gesture sketching. It’s a fully automated and scalable gallery of models of all shapes and sizes in a variety of action poses. There’s even big cats too! I just finished re-reading the first volume of Drawn to Life, so this find is great timing for me as I don’t have a lot of extra time to travel the hour it takes to get to the nearest gesture classes.
